Late Breaking News

The Jackson's of Albuquerque

This week was a busy week for Stacie and Kevin given that it was finals week at UNM. Stacie remained busy throughout the week assisting with check-outs and catching up on subsequent paperwork. Kevin and his friends spent Wednesday night and Thursday morning studying for their last final. Kevin was pleased with his performance this semester and happy to have completed a full year of graduate courses. On Friday Kevin celebrated the end of the semester by going golfing with his friend Nick. After Stacie got off work she joined Nick and Kevin for dinner at their favorite pizzeria, Giovanni's. On Saturday Stacie went into work to continue working on paperwork. Afterwards they went over to the house of a family from church to join them for dinner. They enjoyed playing games and chatting with this family. On Sunday night they joined their friend Nick again for dinner. They roasted green chiles and had a great chicken and green chile meal. They look forward to finding a new apartment that will afford them more opportunities to grill.

The Lane's of Virginia

We started our rockingchair summer project for fhe. Met some of our exersize and work goals.

This Tuesday Julie learned that the library is not a quite place to study and harder to get a card from then a drivers licence and or birth certificate! haha that is an exaggeration WE grabbed lunch after that ineffective adventure.

Saturday, we went to Tgif's and the temple to do baptisms. After we had a really cool experience. Pictures to come later!

Today, Jeff taught two class and participated in ward choir. Julie participated in a quartet practice and then we had a nice dinner of chicken and rice and tomato basil soup which Jeff cooked as a treat to Julie. Then we went over to a friends house for lots of laughs and fun.

The International Haws Family

Well I you friendly reminder has helped me get back on track.

Before anything more we all want to wish Mom a very Happy Birthday!

Our week was enjoyable and the kids seem to be gaining interest in the move as they begin to see the home come together.

This week I put some posters up in Derick room, put up Lucas' bed and order soccer flags of Felipe and Lucas favorite teams for their bedroom. The major items have been taken care of and now we are working on the details.

Renata is doing well. She has been busy and all of the responsibilities have left her a bit tired. She is looking forward to my visit in June, in part to see me and mostly to have a brake.

The family has been plagued with pink-eye this week and I am glad to have the chance to miss out on that growing experience. Pink-eye is one of those illness that really bother me. The constant feeling of sand in my eye is terrible.

As to myself I am enjoying getting everything organized. Work has been busy. Busier than I imagined before coming and doing very different things than I had expected. Besides that I continue to learn how to fix bicycle parts and find new opportunities with each good crash that I take.

That is all that I have for the week.

Love,
Jeff
